Canteen

At Revesby South Public School we follow the healthy guidelines "Healthy Eating Strategy". Food that is rated GREEN is the healthiest option and predominately featured. AMBER food is less prominent and serving sizes are smaller.

Within these guidelines we have a special lunch offer available each term.

The Canteen Committee and P & C thank-you for your support, as we guide your children with a "Healthier Approach" to eating. We like to change our menu slightly through our seasons and we pride ourselves on selling an assortment of quality foods that the children can enjoy. Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Halal choices are available. The canteen is nut and Coconut free for those with allergies.

How to order lunch

We currently have two options for placing lunch orders.

To place a lunch order via the canteen, place money inside a paper bag and clearly write the child's name, class and what they would like to order, Lunch orders must be brought to the canteen between 8.45am – 9:15am.

To place a lunch order online please visit www.quickcliq.com.au and register.

Opening hours of the canteen at Revesby South Public School is open from Wednesday to Friday from 8.45am – 2.30pm providing healthy lunches and treats.

The Canteen Committee is currently run by a group of Volunteers. We hold monthly meetings to discuss various issues and concerns, organising special days, updating menus and much more.

Our canteen is a rostered voluntary group of wonderful parents and carers and we would love to welcome any additional helpers. Children love seeing their parents and grandparents come in to help in the canteen, if you would like to join our fun team please feel free to approach any canteen committee member or you can contact Kellie McFarlane our Canteen co-ordinator on: rspscanteen@gmail.com

Parents can feel good at RSPS about allowing their children to visit the canteen or get lunch orders as the food available has all been carefully considered and wherever possible substituted for healthier options. All the profits from the canteen are donated via the P&C to the school to buy much needed educational equipment.

We thank you again for your extended and ongoing support,

Canteen Committee.
