Revesby South offers a variety of sports that are in accordance with new Australian curriculum. The school also provides the opportunity for students to participate in programs provided from outside expertise, such as the YMCA's gymnastic program, TriSkills and Sports in Schools to name just a few.
The different programs that are provided outside of school are delivered in a range of complex stations that provide a wide and varied range of resources that are designed to inspire, motivate and excite all students to optimal engagement throughout each weekly session.
Primary sport takes place every Friday afternoon, with the main objective to help children gain and develop their fundamental movement skills to assist them with participating in a variety of sports. Each sport also has the potential to help children and youth develop their physical, social, mental and emotional development. Teachers at Revesby South Public School are highly trained to provide appropriate physical activity opportunities for all school students at all levels and encourage participation in sporting activities as part of life long learning and participation.
