Revesby South P.S has a Peer Support program where each year, students from K-6 participate in a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of our students. Peer Support is a 10-week program, in which Year 5 students act as leaders and are given the opportunity to practise valuable leadership skills. Year 5 students undertake a two-day leadership course just prior to the implementation of Peer Support. They all take the responsibility very seriously and it is impressive to see how well they handle themselves within the groups.
Everyone enjoys the Peer Support program and it is a great way for students from all grades to come together, working towards a common aim. Peer Support has fostered cohesion, understanding, harmony and great friendships across grades at our school.
